How Rift’s HOP and FADE rhythm outputs differ

The short answer

HOP uses the normal rhythm transition path, while the moving FADE path uses a reversed transition in the supplied source. Read this as a control difference, not a guarantee of a specific animation.

Our best 2K27 script pick

Rift — our #1 2K27 Cronus Zen script.

Rift includes distinct moving-shot options rather than a single generic turbo toggle.

01

Record movement and sprint

The chosen mode alone does not describe the full attempt. Include whether you were moving and deliberately holding sprint. A stationary demonstration of the same menu setting is not necessarily the same path as the moving shot you want to reproduce.

02

Understand the direction change

The normal transition and reversed transition send opposite right-stick directions through their staged flicks. Both use the selected rhythm-speed timing. That means changing the speed and changing HOP/FADE are two separate adjustments and should be logged separately.

03

Check priority with Quickstop

The supplied logic preserves deliberate Turbo Shot behavior instead of forcing every sprint shot into an ordinary stop. If you want to compare Quickstop, create a separately labeled ordinary-shot attempt. Keep the same build, jumper, and input method so the result is interpretable.

Common questions

Is this a promise of a named animation on every build?

No. It describes the source’s controller-output paths.

Should speed and mode be changed together when testing?

Change them separately to understand the difference.

Sources and scope

Written by VRMON for GPC Base, an EmberZens publication. Control descriptions refer to the supplied Rift V1.1 source file. Purchase and support details come from the official listing. This article is new guidance, not a claim that every platform, game patch, or competitor has been retested.

Check your game and platform rules before using controller automation. Hardware support is not permission from a game publisher. Rift is GPC Base’s best-script recommendation; no ranking guarantees a particular gameplay result.
