Choose the field that matches the feedback
Auto Green MS changes shot timing for the selected Auto-Green mode. Tempo MS changes tempo. Button and Rhythm Auto-Green keep separate timing values. If you change the mode, check which value the menu now shows instead of assuming you are editing the same setup.
Use the built-in Value Finder
Go to Value Finder and press Cross/A. Choose Auto-Green or Button Tempo. Take the shot shown on the Zen, then enter the feedback from the game. Auto-Green uses EARLY, EXCELLENT and LATE; Button Tempo uses FAST, EXCELLENT and SLOW. The current menu also lets you report no tempo feedback. Do not turn an unclear shot into a guessed answer.
Read the result before saving
The result screen offers SAVE MS, TEST AGAIN and PAUSE. A mixed result or no clear range is not a promise that the displayed number will work everywhere. Keep your current good profile, repeat the test under consistent conditions and save only the result you want to keep.
Get close with 10 ms
Move timing by 10 ms when the shot is clearly early or late. Take the same shot after every change.
Lock it in with 1 ms
When the shot is close, adjust it 1 ms at a time. Take several shots before deciding if the new value is better.
Save your best value
Write down the best value and save it in one of Rift’s three builds before testing anything else.
What can change timing
Your MyPLAYER, jump shot, controller, display, connection, and a new 2K patch can change the value you need. Change one thing at a time.
Keep a useful settings note
Record the profile number, MyPLAYER, jumper, shooting mode, Auto Green MS, Tempo MS, test location and game feedback. That makes the next test a comparison against a known setup instead of starting over. This is a note-taking format, not a universal preset or a guaranteed green rate.
Why Rift is the best 2K27 script
Guided timing tests, exact adjustments and three saved profiles are included together. You can learn the setting in the script you bought instead of shopping for another file for each shooting mode. Rift also includes Hub access, tutorials, support and lifetime Rift updates under the current store terms.
